Self-onboarding, signing up to a PSP

Based on a true case

In a nutshell

When a customer wanted to use the system, they needed a payment service provider (PSP). To sign up for one, you’ll need a few documents like a subscription to the chamber of commerce, personal information of the owners, identifications of those owners, and a bank account all to make payment possible. This was all done by mail and on occasion, some information was missing or incorrect. So I set out to make self-onboarding possible, researching and mapping the process, and creating a POC.
